So, the Dodgers win 1-0 on a no hitter, yet the Angels pitchers don't get credit because the game did not go the full 9 innings. Something is wrong with the rules of the game or record keeping. It was a no-hitter and the game ended according to the play book.

If I recall correctly, I believe they changed the rule after Andy Hawkins of the Yanks pitched an 8 inning game no-hitter against the Chisox and lost 4-0 b/c of walks and errors.

it was actually after that, some time in the late 90s. Makes no sense to me either, I can somewhat understand it if the game is shortened, but this game was completed.
